Technical Focus
Our engineering approach is grounded in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as recognized industry codes and standards. We leverage advanced engineering software and digital workflows to deliver accurate, coordinated, and construction-ready deliverables, ensuring alignment between design intent, procurement requirements, and field execution.
- ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8 Design, 49 CFR Part 192/195: Code-compliant design and regulatory requirement for process piping and pipeline systems, including allowable stress checks, wall thickness calculations, corrosion allowance, pressure/temperature ratings, general construction, uprating, and hydrotest considerations. Experience aligning design with client specifications and regulatory requirements
- Pipe Stress & Flexibility Analysis (CAESAR II): Flexibility and stress evaluation under sustained, thermal, occasional, and seismic loads. Nozzle load checks, support optimization, and mitigation of vibration and fatigue risks to ensure mechanical integrity and operability
- 3D Modeling (AutoCAD Plant 3D): Development of intelligent 3D models for piping systems, equipment layouts, and routing. Clash detection, isometric extraction, and generation of coordinated deliverables aligned with construction sequencing
- Hydraulic Analysis (AFT Fathom): Development of steady-state hydraulic models for pipeline and facility piping systems to evaluate flow distribution, pressure losses, pump performance, control valve operation, and system hydraulics. Supports new facility design, brownfield modifications, equipment selection, and operational optimization
- Material Take-Offs/Bill of Materials (MTO/BOM): Accurate quantity take-offs from models and drawings to support procurement, cost estimation, and construction planning. Alignment with specifications, tagging, and material traceability
- Field & Construction Support: Engineering support during construction, including RFIs, field changes, as-built updates, and troubleshooting. Focus on constructability, installation sequencing, and resolving site-driven issues efficiently
